QA Engineer (Manual + API testing)
Help us ship reliable products for our clients. You'll own end-to-end testing across our web apps, client portals, and payment flows — finding the bugs before customers do.
Posted 4 May 2026
We're a small team shipping bespoke apps for clients under our Build-Operate-Transfer model. Every release goes live to real users and real money, so quality isn't optional.
What you'll do
- Write and execute manual test plans for new features across our web apps and
client portals
- Test payment flows end-to-end (Razorpay sandbox + production smoke),
including refunds, subscriptions, and tax calculations
- Validate compliance flows: GST invoicing, DPDP data-export and erasure,
audit logging
- API testing with curl / Postman against our Strapi and FastAPI backends
- Regression-test on every release across desktop browsers and Android/iOS
Safari + Chrome
- File clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual,
screenshots, and severity
- Pair with developers during fix verification — close the loop, don't toss it
back over the wall
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of hands-on QA experience on web or mobile products
- Comfortable reading API responses (JSON), writing test cases, and using
browser dev tools
- Sharp eye for UX edge cases — empty states, slow networks, validation
errors, RTL layouts
- Good written English — bug reports are documents, not tickets
- Curious about how things break, not just whether they work
Nice to have
- Experience with Razorpay or any payment gateway
- Familiarity with Next.js / React app behavior (hydration, ISR, route
handlers)
- Exposure to compliance testing (GST, GDPR, DPDP)
- Basic Postgres SQL — query the DB to verify state, not just the UI
- Light scripting (Bash / Python / JS) for repetitive smoke tests
What we offer
- Direct ownership of release quality — your name is on the green light
- Work with the founders, not three layers down
- Real production exposure across multiple live products from week one
- Flexible hours and a remote-friendly setup
