Build-Operate-Transfer
- What does Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) actually mean when Ganakys builds my app?
Build-Operate-Transfer is a three-stage engagement that lets you launch and run an app without hiring a full product team upfront.
Build — We design, develop, and ship the first production version of your app from your idea, brand, and target audience. You own the code and the IP from day one.
Operate — Once it's live, we run the day-to-day for you: hosting, monitoring, app-store releases, bug fixes, support tickets, and the small enhancements every product needs in its first months. You stay focused on customers, marketing, and revenue.
Transfer — At a milestone you choose (typically when your business is ready to bring product in-house), we hand over the operations cleanly: knowledge transfer, credentials, runbooks, and a transition window where our team is still on call.
Because every product is different, we offer five engagement variants pure─ Build-Operate-Transfer, Build-Transfer (no operate stage), Build-Operate-as-a-Service (we keep operating indefinitely), and two revenue-share variants (Build-Operate-Acquire and Build-Operate-Buyout) where part of our compensation is tied to the app's success. You pick the variant that matches your goals and risk appetite when you submit a request, and we tailor the proposal accordingly.
Pricing, timeline, and milestones are quoted per project after we review your idea — there's no menu price, because the work is bespoke.
